Peaches

This was my first bumper peach crop year. As seen in the picture, my peach tree was loaded. I picked I think close to 500 peaches. I used half of them to make fruit leather and bottle. I gave away the other half. That was a lot of peaches. But they were sooo good.

As I watched my limbs began to bow over with the weight of the peaches, my mind often reflected on this scripture.

Doctrine and Covenants 81:5

5 Wherefore, be faithful; stand in the office which I have appointed unto you; succor the weak, lift up the hands which hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees.

I am thankful for all of the support I have received in my life to lift up my hands when they have hung down and felt weighted with more than I could handle. I began to greatly appreciate the purpose of the sticks we had to help support our tree, and the sticks in my own life. Thank you to all of you.

Wow! I'm so glad you had an abundant harvest. I'm totally jealous! Glad you put it all to good use.

Those peaches look great! Glad you got so many and had a good year (they were not as good this year in CA I've heard). Peaches are my very favorite fruit!
